In an effort to make DevScripts a specialised Link Directory for Web Development Scripts, we have decided to make a few more changes to the category structure. We have added brand new categories Flash and Ruby! So start listing your Flash and Ruby scripts to our Script directory so that users can find you when they search through our script categories.
In addition, we will no longer be listing submissions for C/C++, Delphi & Visual Basic as these programming languages and listings within them are mostly for Desktop applications.
To Summarise -
New Categories added: Flash & Ruby
These categories have been here for a while, but we thought we'd mention it again anyway, just in case you may have missed it.
- Flash - Where you can upload your Flash Scripts and ActionScript Components & Scripts.
- Ruby - We show our support for Ruby and have added this language into our categories. Upload your Ruby Scripts, Ruby on Rails (ROR) Scripts & Components here.
Categories to be removed: C, C++, Delphi, Visual Basic
We have decided on this as these categories either had source code and/or components for desktop applications and have very little or no listings within them.
Usually, we would send out emails letting our users know that their listing has been marked as a desktop application by our staff, we will not be doing so for these three categories. We will be marking them all as software without any notifications.
