A powerful news management system that doesn’t use MySQL but flat files. It is very easy to use and integrate into existing website. You will need less than 3 minutes to get it working on your server. Features: powerful comments, headlines, own smilies, search function, backup, IP, preview function, banning, language packs, archives that can be organized, fullstory, online admin panel and 3 different user levels, skins, can be used and with register_globals set to off. The script comes with installator that will install CuteNews for you.

Most scripts that I have looked at, at least 10 different news scripts, have one or more of the following flaws: 1) script errors, resulting in not being able to post or not being able to log in, 2) ugly cosmetics, 3) slow, takes up lots of space, 4) hard to configure.

Cute News surpasses all of this. I am able to post quickly and it WORKS. The templates are easily customized, not buried inside PHP pages. And it's very easy to embed the news. The interface is also very easy to use, since the person actually took the time to insert graphics and make it look nice with tables and borders. Very nice job.
