Don't forget to give it extension .shtml, and check to be installed on server side. Alse check .htaccess for scanning SSI.

Very useful, a very intelligent practical application of mixed programming.
Essentially I consider just the single line

var ip = ''

anywhere in the scripts, to read ANY server side variable.

very nice! integrates nicely when used on a form page. may also scare some horses ass from sending bogus data.
