Viewing: Ublog Reload

I bought a multi-db license and installed this script to my server. I had character encoding problems so i asked for the coder to help me. He did not respond to any of my two support requests. And i posted the issue to the forum. Here's a summary the thread:

Me:
For some reason Turkish characters like "ş", "ı", "ğ" on my blog are sometimes displayed as "?", "y" and "?" respectively. But rarely, i am able to see these characters as they should be. So i don't have any idea on what can cause this "random" appereance and i need your help.

Him:
You have defined 3 charset code in the header of the page.

Me:
I have removed two of them... Didn't work
What else should i do?

Him:
Remove this:
Anyway the problem is on the client browser or on the server configuration but not on my application.

Me:
If it were the browser or the server, older version of ublog also wouldn't work properly, but it does at the followıng url:
http://www.tele.com.tr/defaultbu.asp
Here's what the hosting company says:
your problems come from unicode characters. This is because you can't store them in your SQLServer correctly. Coder who has developed your application used "varchar" fields instead of "nvarchar" which allow input of unicode characters. He has to fix his DB and code

Him:
I have used nvarchar type for the title of the entries and ntext for the content. So this is not the problem. The error is random, so it's not related to the application.

So this is his approach to his customers. Beware or buy the script on your own risk
