This is not MSN passport. The application uses cookie to trace registered users inside of the same domain space. But the main difference from this way is : your web server does not need to be on the same domain to get the user authenticated. If you need user authentication with password setup/reset feature, it is your choice. Full source code is available. MS Access is used as database to store user related information. This is an ColdFusion application.
