Alternative to Zend

I've been using Source Guardian for about a year. I chose it because it was a less-expensive alternative to Zend's annual license.

I've not used the more advanced features, but the basic task of encrypting my scripts has been easy to accomplish.

On the negative side, there have been a couple hosts that have been incompatible, because of improper PHP setups (so SG support says). Only a couple hosts have already had the SG loaders installed, so nearly all of my clients need to manually install the loaders (10x-50x larger than just my scripts).

I'd like to see Source Guardian spend more time getting hosting companies to install their loaders company-wide, just as Zend has done.
